In this tutorial we're going to show you how to get your audio file automatically transcribed when you upload it to Google Drive.
What you'll need.
- Descript
- Google Drive
- Zapier
- 1 x Audio File
Step 1 - Google Drive > Descript
Google Drive
- [ ] Create a folder in Google Drive to store your audio recordings.
- [ ] Add in a sample audio file.
Zapier
- [ ] Create a new Zap.
- [ ] Connect Google Drive.
- [ ] Create a Trigger 'New File in Folder in Google Drive.
- [ ] Connect Descript
- [ ] Create an Action Request Transcription in Descript.
Step 2 - Descript > Google Drive > Gmail
Zapier
- [ ] Create a new Zap.
- [ ] Set Descript as the trigger. New Transcription Ready in Descript.
- [ ] Next, Upload File to the same folder back in Google Drive.
Gmail
- [ ] Connect Gmail as the final step to send an email to let you know once it has been done.
